Hi there!
My name is Karly.
My professional photographic career began in 2020 as an adventure wedding/elopement photographer, traveling and living the van life dream. As always, Austin eventually called me back home and life is always changing in so many ways, including my photography journey.
As much as I love capturing grand expressions of love and wild beautiful places, I also love photographing the pure, perfect essence of a being- up close with no distractions. I am a creature of deep nostalgia, and looking back at photos is incredibly beautiful to me, as I know it is for you as well! That is my soul purpose as a photographer- to give people the gift of vividly precious memories of the ones they love; of sweet tender moments in time that don’t have to remain quite so fleeting.
In Memory of Lola
My sweetest girl, Lola Eve. MY first baby. I got her the summer going into high school, and she was with me throughout my most transformative years- through high school, college, and beyond. Growing up, I was obsessed with the idea of having a big dog who I could train and adventure with, and when Lola finally came into my life, I dedicated endless hours into obedience training. She went every where with me. She was the subject of countless photos through the years. Lola was an eternal puppy, yet so maternal and nurturing to all living beings. She cared for me just as much as I cared for her. She really was the very best pup a girl could ask for- an integral aspect to my life, my young adulthood, my growth, and sense of responsibility. That is why I chose her name for my business- As a tribute to my memories of her, which I am oh so grateful to be able to look back upon.
